iCure Medical Supports Three International Microwave Ablation Exchange Programs in Zhejiang
International experts joined Chinese clinical teams in Hangzhou for focused programs covering prostate, thyroid, liver-tumor and uterine-fibroid ablation.

A shared clinical language
From June 6 to 9, three international minimally invasive thermal-ablation programs took place across Hangzhou. Teams from Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital, Linping District Maternal and Child Health Hospital, and Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine welcomed specialists from India, Nepal and Vietnam.
The programs combined live procedures, technical demonstrations and multidisciplinary discussion. Together they highlighted China's growing clinical experience in microwave ablation and created a practical space for international exchange around precision, safety, functional preservation and post-procedure quality control.

Three programs, four clinical questions
The first program focused on international prostate ablation exchange at Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital. Visiting experts observed access planning, puncture accuracy and energy control during a live prostate microwave ablation procedure, followed by discussion of functional preservation and complication prevention.
At Linping District Maternal and Child Health Hospital, the exchange combined a thyroid-ablation lecture with a live procedure and the unveiling of a clinical application base for the Zhejiang Province Microwave Therapy System Research Institute.
The third program, at Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine, explored liver-tumor ablation and uterine-fibroid treatment. The visiting experts discussed access design, real-time energy adjustment, complication prevention and the assessment of ablation margins with the Chinese team.

iCure Medical as a supporting partner
As a supporting partner for the series, iCure Medical provided microwave ablation equipment and technical support throughout the programs. The company's intelligent temperature-controlled system is designed to match power output to tissue impedance at millisecond speed, supporting precision and procedural safety.
Its water-cooling circulation is designed to reduce the risk of thermal injury along the needle tract. The platform is presented for selected applications including thyroid nodules, uterine fibroids, prostate disease and liver tumors.
The larger goal is simple: make precision minimally invasive technology more accessible, support clinical translation and help Chinese microwave ablation solutions reach a wider global community.
